Sacheu and Glossmetics Owner Gloss Ventures Raises $15 Million Series A

Gloss Ventures, the parent company of the viral peel-off lip liner brand Sacheu and Glossmetics, landed $15 million in Series A funding from Peterson Partners.WHO: Gloss Ventures was founded in 2020 by Quinn Roukema, Tobias Topel, and William McMacken to build the next generation's iconic CPG portfolio. The group was established to incubate and acquire beauty and wellness brands. The company's platform leverages creator marketing, social commerce, and omnichannel excellence, enabling diverse markets to achieve fast and sustainable growth through optimized retail strategies. Gloss Ventures divested Active Wow, Vitamin Bounty, and Pursuit Beauty from its portfolio to focus on incubated brands Sacheu and Glossmetics.Launched in 2021 in partnership with influencer Sarah Cheung and Third Act Ventures, Sacheu specializes in skincare tools and long-lasting makeup products, including its patent-pending peel-off lip liner, which has gone viral. The brand is available at Ulta Beauty, Amazon, Urban Outfitters in the US, and Boots in the UK.Launched in 2023, Glossmetics is a skincare range targeting Generations Alpha and Z. The brand is sold at Urban Outfitters, Amazon in the US, UK, and Canada, and 210 Walmart doors in Canada. The brands will launch in approximately 400 stores in the UK this spring and 5,000 stores in the United States in the summer.Based in Salt Lake City, Peterson Partners was established by Joel Peterson, former CEO of real estate developer Trammell Crow. The investment firm is comprised of private equity, venture, and search funds, with $2.5 billion under management.
